Non-Resident Accounts

Non-residents (people who have not received a residence permit) can open a bank account in the UAE. However, certain restrictions will apply to a personal account in Dubai or any other Emirate for non-residents of the UAE.

Restrictions:

Documentation Package:

  • passport.

  • CV (resume).

  • bank account statement from a previous or current bank account with another financial institution.

  • paid receipt for any services or goods on which your address is printed.

  • letters of recommendation (from the management of the bank whose client you were before, from reputable clients of the bank in Dubai where you want to open an account now, etc.).
