Spouse & Family Visas

Expatriate residents (employers and employees) can sponsor their families to reside in the UAE if they have a valid residence permit/visa.

The period of residence visa depends on the sponsor type and the sponsored person.

 

It is issued for one or two years. Visa is renewable and a subject to conditions like those of new visas. The family's residence permits are linked to the residence permit of the sponsoring expatriate employee.

Documents required:

  • Valid Passport Copies (with at least 6 months validity) of all family members

  • Emirates ID (for UAE residents)

  • Marriage Certificate (for spouse sponsorship)

  • Birth Certificates (for children or dependents)

  • Proof of Income (Salary Certificate or bank statements) to demonstrate financial stability

  • Residence Permit or Employment Contract (of the sponsor in the UAE)

  • Health Insurance Coverage (if required for dependents)

  • Passport-sized Photographs (for each family member as per UAE specifications)

  • Medical Fitness Certificate (for family members over a certain age, if required)
